This article provides a scientifically substantiated account of the Jadidists' views on education and their ideas aimed at shaping creative individuals. They criticized existing old-style schools and madrassas and sought to create a new, modern education system based on knowledge. The Jadids viewed education as a means of social reform, a force awakening the people and leading the nation to development.
