CURRENT ISSUES OF MANAGING THE EXPENSES OF THE ROAD FUND OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

All over the world, the management of road fund expenditures is carried out simultaneously with state budget expenditures. Today, in the context of global economic globalization, taking into account the free movement of goods and people, the need to improve road infrastructure is increasing. This requires high-quality management in the construction, reconstruction and maintenance of new roads. To finance these costs, it is necessary to collect payments from road users in a timely manner and pool funds in a centralized manner.
In order to solve the problem of sustainable financing, the establishment of road funds is widespread in world practice. Such funds are usually formed at the expense of fees paid by road users, taxes and targeted revenues and provide continuous and targeted financing of the road sector.
This study, based on international experience, shows the current state and promising directions of the road fund in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also develops relevant proposals and recommendations.
