It discusses how English has become the universal language of economics, business, and global communication, emphasizing its impact on academic curricula, research, and cross-border cooperation. The study analyzes the linguistic features of English economic terminology, its classification, methods of formation, and translation issues faced by non-native learners. Special attention is paid to the integration of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approaches in higher education. The paper concludes by suggesting strategies for improving economic terminology teaching to prepare globally competent specialists capable of effective professional communication in English.
