CREATING A MODEL FOR IMPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF TEACHERS THROUGH RESEARCH COMPETENCE
Abstract
This article explores the development of a model aimed at enhancing the professional skills of teachers through the integration of research competence. Emphasizing the growing need for educators to be reflective practitioners and lifelong learners, the study presents a comprehensive framework that incorporates research-based inquiry as a central mechanism for professional development. Drawing on current literature and practical observations, the model addresses key competencies such as critical thinking, reflective practice, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making. The article concludes with implications for teacher education and recommendations for institutional support.
