Learning a new language is not merely an academic endeavor; it is a profound psychological journey that transforms learners on multiple levels. For English language learners (ELLs), this transformation involves cognitive, emotional, and social changes that influence their identity and interactions. This article examines the psychological transformations experienced by ELLs, highlighting the intricate relationship between language acquisition and psychological development.
