Abstract

Phraseological units are integral components of language that carry cultural and semantic significance. This study undertakes a comparative analysis of somatic phraseological units in English and Uzbek languages, focusing on their structural and semantic aspects. Through an exhaustive examination of linguistic resources, this research aims to elucidate the similarities and differences in the usage, structure, and semantic connotations of somatic phraseological units in these two languages. The analysis is conducted with a deep exploration of cultural and historical contexts, providing insights into the unique expressions and underlying conceptualizations embedded within these linguistic constructs.
