Abstract

Abstract:This article is devoted to the interpretation of a series of stories, starting with the masterpiece "Zarbulmasal" by Gulkhani, who initiated the genre of parables in Uzbek classical literature. The principles of reflection in the story "The Ant and the Grasshopper" by the English writer S. Maugham were studied. The story, interpreted in a comparative aspect, spoke about the hard work and nobility of man.
