This article analyzes the prologue of Yusuf Khass Hajib’s Qutadghu Bilig, focusing on its compositional structure, philosophical content, and ideological foundations. The study highlights how key concepts such as justice, knowledge, wisdom, contentment, and speech ethics are intertwined with the poem’s main ideas. The author demonstrates the significance of the prologue not merely as an introduction, but as a foundation for the work’s ethical and political worldview.
